I get paid to answer my own questions about markets.it's the best gig I've ever had.They came up with a sexy name like "analyst" to justify the pay.Which is funny, considering I would (and do) research cool shit for free.Sometimes "cool shit" means spotting financial risks/opportunities. I send that to people who run big businesses affected by real-world supply chains.In my free time, it's just plain old "cool shit" that satisfies the curiosity itch and makes me go, "Huh. Interesting," before I move on with my day.Occasionally, I share the latter category with my friends.Sometimes they share cool shit back and I pass it on.Shoot me a note if you want to receive.I'll put a few on here for casual curious folks before too long.

10/5/23AI has improved the granularity w which I can search the web.SEO must be more important now than ever.But thatā€™s balanced by the AI being able to give its own answers specific to your learning ability. It will also summarize.So pages should have a clear summary written in them near the top?

10/5/23I wonder how this next level of digital intelligence will affect interpersonal dynamics.Will people crave physical interaction?Or will more people crave an artificial experience.It seems like instilling tools to build self esteem in young people is more important than ever.Otherwise, I suspect people will revert to quick dopamine hits like AI porn and artificial relationships.Even the early versions of voice assistants on Open AI are alarmingly close to the Scarlett Johansson AI in Her.If AI can be programmed into a pseudo realistic version of a personā€™s sexual ideal, how will that affect birth rates?Test of optimism and pessimism.
